Sajag-Nepal is funded by the UK Government through the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). It is one of the projects in the GCRF Collective Programme, an investment of £147 million aimed at enhancing impact across global health, education, sustainable cities, food systems, conflict, and resilience. The programme brings together a wide range of researchers and experts from around the world to generate innovative solutions to intractable development issues and contribute to enabling healthier and safer lives, sustainable development and prosperity for all. Research across the programme is contributing to realising the ambitions of the UK Government’s aid strategy and progressing the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
